Residents in a Moorlands town are being reminded that they have a chance to have their say on future development in their area.

Work is currently taking place to produce a neighbourhood plan for Leek.

The Town Council is producing a Neighbourhood Plan and a steering group of residents has been formed to help the council to produce the plan.

Neighbourhood Plans are a means for the local community to have a say over policies governing the future development of the town.

The website – www.loveleek.org – has been set up as part of the consultation process for the production of the plan. The site provides a description of the plan, the stages of public consultation, along with contact details to submit thoughts and questions about the plan.
