Residents are being invited to get involved with Staffordshire Wildlife Trust’s Big Wildlife Weekend
Residents across the Moorlands are being invited to get involved with Staffordshire Wildlife Trust’s Big Wildlife Weekend to celebrate the half-way point of this year’s 30 Days Wild campaign by the charity.
Almost 2,000 people from across the county have signed up for 30 Days Wild and the Wildlife Trust is calling on people of all ages to become wildlife detectives to celebrate the Big Wild Weekend which takes place over the weekend of June 15 and 16.
The trust is asking people to head into their gardens, local green spaces, parks or nature reserves to look out for 30 key species across Staffordshire to help survey the state of the county's wildlife; and to furthermore record sightings of species, the likes of bees, hedgehogs and woodland birds, to paint a picture and analyse the state of Staffordshire’s wildlife.
Anyone interested in signing up to the Trust’s Big Wild Weekend Watch can do so by signing up at
