Police ease residents concerns at Moorlands Beauty spot

Police in the moorlands have stepped up patrols at Knypersley Pool following concerns from residents about people flouting the lockdown rules. Police say that while patrolling the reservoir everyone who they came into contact with were observing social distancing rules, were local and out on their daily exercise as permitted by the government

Chief inspector Mark Thorley said: “I’m aware that some residents are becoming concerned by people walking at Knypersley reservoir, it’s reassuring to see that those there live locally and are not travelling far to exercise.”
