Police are appealing for witnesses following reports of a suspicious male in the Moorlands area.

The incident happened at around 5am on Monday, June 10 in the Shelley Drive area of Cheadle.

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: “Did you happen to see a male dressed all in black acting suspiciously in that area?

“If you did, please contact Staffordshire police on 101 quoting serial number 50 of June 10.”

Meanwhile, Police are also appealing for witnesses following an incident at the site of a visiting circus.

The force has confirmed that there was problems at the circus on Tean Road in Cheadle on the evening of June 5.

The force spokesman said: “Between the hours of 5pm to 6pm, a group of youths were causing issues with members of the public and staff at the location.”
