Police appeal following Biddulph assault

Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Biddulph on Monday evening.

At around 6:40 pm on Monday officers were called to Well street in Biddulph to reports of a man with a head injury.

A 48 year old man was treated at the scene for injuries not thought to be life threatening he was later taken to Royal Stoke university hospital by west midlands ambulance service.

Police are now appealing for information or witnesses to come forward to help them with their investigation. anyone with information should contact them on 101

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Moorlands neighborhood policing team said:

“Officers are appealing for information after an assault in Biddulph.

We were called at 6.40pm yesterday (18 May) to reports of a 48-year old man with a head injury on Well St. He was taken to hospital.

Any witnesses or anyone with any information can call 101 quoting 521 of 18 May”
