Moorlands Charity Benefited From Fund-Raiser Carried Out By Finance staff

A Moorlands charity is one of many charities which has benefited from an energetic fund-raiser carried out by finance staff.

TSB staff, their families and friends across the region have recently climbed Snowden in Wales to raise money for 23 local charities in the area.

Through sponsorship and other fundraising events held in the run-up, the team raised more than £17,000 for TSB’s Local Charity Partners including the Green Tree House Charity in Biddulph.

Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales, at an elevation of 1,085 metres above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands.

Amanda Beech, Chairwoman for The Green Tree House Charity, said: “We are hugely grateful to TSB. “The money they have raised and the general support we are getting is helping us to deliver really important services in Biddulph. “Having major businesses like TSB supporting us locally is a great way of making our community stronger.”
