First Potteries increase service as country begins lockdown exit



First potteries have announced that they will be increasing bus frequency as the country begins to exit lockdown. People are still encouraged to consider all other forms of transport before public transport and to wear face coverings on busses and trains where social distancing isn’t possible. With more businesses set to open over the next two weeks first potteries have restored a number of services to allow more people to travel as busses are only filling 1 in 4 seats to allow social distancing to be adhered to.

From June 1st

The 18 service which runs between Leek and Hanley will increase its service from hourly to half hourly at peak times and hourly during off peak times. The 7/7a which runs between Biddulph and Hanley will Run every 15 minutes on weekdays, increasing from hourly. The Kingfisher service which runs between Hanley and Uttoxeter via Cheadle and Tean will operate hourly.
