Firefighters Attend Biddulph Supermarket

A call was received at 08:07am (17th June) by Staffordshire fire and Rescue Service alerted to a shop sign on fire at Biddulph Sainsbury’s on Warf road, Biddulph.

One appliance from Biddulph attended and used a ladder and fire extinguisher to extinguish part of the shop sign which was alight .

The building was ventilated to remove smoke and part of the insulated roof cut away to check for hotspots.

They left the scene at 09:05am and no injuries were reported.
