Coronavirus: Third day without new case in the Moorlands



The total of coronavirus cases in the UK now stands just over 283,300 after a daily increase of around 1,600 cases


Cases in Staffordshire saw an increase of 3 in the last 24 hours and the total now stands at 2,280 with 222 of them across the moorlands which hasn't increased in three days.


Stoke-on Trent is recorded separately form the rest of the county and has recorded 4 new cases taking the total to 806.


The number of people who’ve died with the virus in the UK has increased by 357 bringing the total UK figure above 40,000 of them 313 occurred at the university hospitals of North Midlands, an increase of 5.


The Midlands Partnership NHS foundation trust have recorded 11 deaths and The North Staffordshire Combined healthcare trust has recorded a total of 6
