Coronavirus: new cases from across Staffordshire and Stoke

A daily increase of around 1,900 coronavirus cases in the UK takes the total number of cases to over 269,000.

Over the last 24 hours 10 new cases in Staffordshire takes the total to 2,229 with 217 of them across the Moorlands, an increase of 3.

Stoke-on Trent is recorded separately from the rest of Staffordshire and 7 new cases there takes the total to 756.

The number of people who’ve died with the virus in the UK has increased by 377 bringing the total UK figure to just over 37,800 of them 299 occurred at the university hospitals of North Midlands an increase of 1

The Midlands Partnership NHS foundation trust have a total of 9 deaths and The North Staffordshire Combined healthcare trust has recorded a total of 6.
