Coronavirus: Latest daily figures from across the area

The number of coronavirus cases in the UK has increased by around 1,400 in the last 24 hours taking the UK total to just above 289,000.

There are now 2,297 cases in Saffordshire after a daily increase of 7, Of those cases there are 225 in The moorlands which is an increase of 1.

Stoke-on-Trent is recorded seperatley from the rest of the county and had 813 confirmed cases, a daily increase of 1.

The number of people who've died with the virus has increased by 286, taking the total uk figure to just below 40,900.

The university hospitals of North Midlands have recorded 3 further deaths taking the total to 318.

The Midlands Partnership NHS foundation and The North Staffordshire Combined healthcare trust haven’t recorded any new deaths .
