Coronavirus Latest cases as UK overtakes Italy’s Death toll

Over 194, 000 people have now tested positive for coronavirus in the UK after a daily increase of around 4,400.

In Staffordshire 21 new cases takes the total to 1,843 and in Stoke-on-Trent 8 new case takes the total to 532.

The UK has overtaken Italy and now has the most coronavirus-related deaths in Europe as The number of people who’ve died with the virus in the UK has increased by 693.

It brings the total UK figure to 29,427.

Another 11 deaths have been recorded across the university hospitals of north midlands taking the total to 218 The Midlands partnership NHS foundation trust and The North Staffs Combined healthcare trust have recorded 4 deaths each
