Coronavirus: Latest cases across Staffordshire, Stoke and Moorlands

Over 223,00 people have now tested positive for coronavirus in the UK after a daily increase of around 3,800.

In Staffordshire 18 new cases takes the total to 1,979 with 179 confirmed cases across the Moorlands, an increase of 3. In Stoke-on-Trent 2 new case takes the total to 616.

The number of people who’ve died with the virus in the UK has increased by 210

It brings the total UK figure to over 32,000.

Another 4 deaths have been recorded across the university hospitals of north midlands taking the total to 247 The North Staffs Combined healthcare trust and The midlands partnership NHS foundation trust have also recorded 5 deaths each
